Soul of Leadership

           Leadership is one important thing that shows the quality of human resources that we have. It is not easy to build the soul of leadership while we are in the individualist family or as a people who have ever experienced a broken home. Why? Because leadership build start from we were born, and the natural factor that really has a big influence of leadership is Family. It is always young man as a student asked about their soul of leadership, how to build it, or how to make it, but when we are grow up in the family that inside it there are so many problems, it would be so hard to find a person who wish and realize to have a good character better than their parents. As we can see, as much as we find that people who has a problem inside their family instead involved by their emotional feeling, they had a feeling stress, hate, trauma and many more, so they are broke their own self rather than to think to be a good person not just like their parents.

         Let me tell why leadership be the important thing that someone need to have. First, as a Muslim we know the story of the prophet Ibrahim A.S, when he asked by Allah S.W.T to slaughter his own son, he did it, but soon Allah replace his son’s position with a sheep. So, his son is still alive. Lesson that we can take is the persistence that Ibrahim’s has in his owns self. Leader should have persistence when they make some decision, they cannot be capricious when they have some decision, which way that they should take. Consistency is the important thing because it shows that someone has a principium for his/her own self when they get some problem and people can see how they can face the problem with stay sanding in his way with the best decision that they choose. Second, they have to be clever, there is different meaning between smart or diligent and clever, smart is when someone had educated or graduated from some school, has good integrity and has a good value about their study. But clever is when he/she has ability to choose the right way where he/she gets some problem, fix it as soon as possible, and accurately choose a good selection. Then, the third is loyalty, a bit different with another expert’s premise, in my opinion loyalty should be the important thing that someone need to have to show the soul of Leadership. Loyalty is not just to their couple but when they have loyalty about their strong belief, loyalty of their principium, about their statement, it can proof that he/she has a great honesty, the fourth important thing but can included to the third characteristic of person that has the soul of leadership. Loyalty and honesty has a relation that connecting each other. When he/she has a loyalty about their statement when they speak it proof that they have a strong principium that they hold and it can proof that what they says is the truth (honestly).

         Actually, talent of leadership is not come with the born of us, but it is the skill that we are going to acute everyday and every time. Habitually the true leader has the long perspective to the future. He/she has ability to find the potential of his own self and maximally when use it. He/she can motivate another, with his words or a sentence that has a deep meaning and can build the spirit. We can see someone who has soul of leadership from the good enough of the age and the creation that made by him/her. All of the criteria above got by the routine accustomed. When they had some experiences about failure, it is the best asset that they can learn from it and knows what they should do if that problem comes again. And they will be move carefully while be running in the business. In other words, leader is person that always learning and building his skill in every time. John C. Maxwell says the prime unsure of leadership is heart of attendant. It means that leader have to be person that can take another, serve another to go to be the best person in every things.
